MOKA coffee from Vietnam is a rare, special Arabica variety originated in the Yemeni port city of Mocha, then introduced by the French colonists in the late 19th century (around 1875) to Vietnam. The MOKA coffee was first seeded in Northern Vietnam and later discovered Lâm Viên Plateau (Đà Lạt now) in high-altitude as the only ideal climate for the MOKA.

In the past, MOKA coffee was a premier choice for export under brandname of Arabica du Tonkin, and also known as the "Queen of Coffee," for that, it is prized as a light, sour, and intensely aromatic and complex flavour profile, though its low yield and disease susceptibility make it rare and expensive.

Till today, the authentic old-grown MOKA is famously preserved in Cầu Đất, Đà Lạt, Lầm Đồng, Vietnam.

Vietnam MOKA coffee has delicate aroma, a light, complex sourness, olive, velvety chocolate with rich creamy body.
