Representing just 1% of the global market, Liberica and its celebrated variant, Excelsa, are rare Southeast Asian varieties that thrive in Vietnam's low-altitude heat. Known locally as "Cà phê mít" for its outstanding, tart jackfruit and dark berry notes, these complex specialty beans contain exceptionally low caffeine—just a third of Robusta. Because production is incredibly limited and seasonal, Le Vie5 works directly with farms in Vietnam to source these rare lots.
