    LeVie5 Classic is robusta variety (scientifically called "Coffea canephora") widely used by Vietnamese locals for their daily cups of coffee.

    Robusta mostly comes from Dak Lak Province, Central Highlands of Vietnam - one of the most famous precincts for Vietnamese robusta - grown in basaltic red soil with tropical monsoon climate providing stable conditions for Robusta production. Harvest season starts from October and spread out to March. Traditionally, farmers harvest by hand stripping and then sundry on nets or cement grounds before hulled and mechanically cleaned to achieve clean quality.

    At LeVie5 Roastery Café, the beans are biweekly dark roasted and medium fine ground before brewed with a traditional Phin filter to extract a cup of coffee and served our customers, individually.

    Cupping profile: strong, bold, non-acidic, earthy, full bodied, and sweet aftertaste.

    Recommended for brew: Vietnamese Phin filter, or some use paper filter, Mokapot or French Press.

    Companion: adding some sugar or Vietnamese condensed milk into cups would bring additional aroma and tastes which stand out from the crowd. Don't forget to rock with ice for a hot day.
